CHICAGO — The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) Safety Program Award recognizes active member companies that have demonstrated a commitment to improving jobsite safety through development, implementation and enforcement of a safety and risk management program. An application form can be downloaded on the MRCA website and submitted via mail or fax. Once entered, safety plans will be reviewed by members of the MRCA Safety and Operations Committee and MRCA Legal Counsel Gary Auman. Submissions will be reviewed confidentially and will remain anonymous. The entry fee is $75, and the deadline for submissions is Feb. 15, 2014.

Each company that submits an application will receive a detailed written critique of its safety program, and eachsubmission will be graded and awarded at one of four levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze. Award winners will be announced at the MRCA 65^th Annual Conference in Grapevine, Texas, on Dec. 10-12, 2014.

The MRCA will also host a webinar on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. Central that will focus on safety programs and go into more detail about the Safety Program Award. The webinar is free for member companies. To register, click here.
