BATON ROUGE, La. — Jasper Contractors Inc. has announced that Richard Goering, formerly of ShingleCorp LLC, has been named vice president of Jasper’s West Coast operations. Goering will be based out of the Denver office.

“Richard has been an integral part of ShingleCorp since the company’s inception, and his solid and proven leadership, sales and money management skills will be invaluable to our west coast Jasper team,” Brian Wedding, owner and CEO of Jasper Contractors and managing partner of Wedding Holdings, said.

In his role with ShingleCorp, a Wedding Holdings subsidiary company, Goering was responsible for profit and loss management of multiple facilities servicing 10 states across the western United States; management of large inside and outside sales teams; integration of a business strategy to drive corporate goals across operations in specified geographical areas; and development and implementation of a best-in-class sales process nationwide.

“I look forward to lending the skills I’ve learned through years of sales and management experience to Jasper Contractors and its thriving business structure,” Goering said.

A 20-year industry veteran, Goering previously served as national field sales manager for Roseburg Forest Products; general manager for the Pacific Northwest/Mountain District at BlueLinx Corporation; and as a sales engineer at Indus International, among other positions. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, from which he earned a degree in marketing and sports management.
