BATON ROUGE, La. — Jasper Contractors Inc. has announced that it has reappointed Carl McNair as company president.

McNair , who formerly served in the position from 2006 to 2012, transferred to ShingleCorp LLC, a Wedding Holdings subsidiary company, in 2012 to lead all startup operations, strategic planning and business plan implementation as vice president and chief operating officer.

“As we enthusiastically welcome Carl back as Jasper president, we thank him for his superb leadership in getting ShingleCorp established and poised for continued growth,” said Brian Wedding, Jasper Contractors owner and CEO and managing partner of Wedding Holdings. “Now that he has laid the groundwork for ongoing success, we look forward to Carl’s transition back to the Jasper leadership team.”

Jasper Contractors, which has expanded its operations in multiple communities across its primary service area, is expected to continue to extend its footprint throughout 2013 and beyond. The company was included on the 2012 Inc. 500/5000 list and recipient of the Owens Corning’s Top Performer Purchase Volume Award.

Prior to first joining Jasper in 2005 as operations manager, McNair served as branch manager for ABC Supply and was previously employed with TrueVision in various capacities, including local sales representative and senior manager of the Northern United States. He is a graduate of Tougaloo College in Mississippi, from which he earned a degree in economics.
