MOBILE, Ala. — American WeatherStar (AWS) has relocated its corporate office to a larger facility in Mobile, Ala. This new location will provide AWS 2,500 square feet of office space and 2,500 square feet of additional warehouse space.
“We are very excited with this move,” President Brian O’Donnell said. “We felt it was the right time to purchase a facility rather than continuing to lease. I don’t feel the market in the Mobile area is going to drop any more. Airbus breaks ground on their manufacturing facility later this spring, and I really feel their presence is going to radically change our city and its economy. Our new building doubles our office space and gives us the room we need to fully implement our new Business Development Center, which will focus on ensuring our approved Dealers across America will have the support they need to find and secure their next sale.”
More warehouse space will give AWS the ability to make samples and test new materials and systems in-house. It also means faster turn-around times for the most in-demand AWS products. “Business moves at such a fast speed these days,” O’Donnell said. “More space will help us keep up with demand and set us apart from our competitors.”
The new facility will also allow for expanded onsite training sessions for AWS approved Dealers. “This is something we’ve wanted to implement for a long time,” O’Donnell said. “We can now bring our Dealers in house for longer and more productive training sessions. This will lead to a stronger base of qualified Dealers spreading the word about our quality roofing products.”
