Shawn Dennehy, a territory manager for low-slope roofing manufacturer MuleHide, has relocated to the company’s Alabama–Tennessee–Mississippi territory. He had managed the company’s Chicago territory since 2020.
He is the company’s lead contact with customers in the territory. His responsibilities include helping ensure that projects are completed efficiently and according to specification, working with contractors and ABC Supply Co. Inc. branch teams to develop solutions to meet property owners’ roofing needs, and providing ongoing product, technical and sales training for contractors and ABC Supply associates.
Before joining MuleHide, Dennehy worked on the contractor side of the Illinois roofing business for 25 years, initially leading the architectural sheet metal fabrication department for Topside Roofing Inc. in South Elgin and ultimately serving as a project manager/estimator at Tecta America Illinois Roofing LLC in North Aurora. He worked for commercial and full-service roofing companies, with his responsibilities spanning all areas of operations, job site and general management.
“Shawn has done an exceptional job managing our Chicago territory,” said John Pantesco, Southeast region director. “He is a versatile and gifted leader who is able to motivate and guide teams in successfully completing even the most complex projects. We look forward to him bringing that success and those skills, and his 30 years of roofing knowledge and experience, to the Southeast Region.”
