WAYNE, N.J. — GAF was recently awarded the Gold I Asphalt nnovation Award for Asphalt Roofing Shingles from Home Builder Executive for its advancements in the category over the past year.

The company was acknowledged for introducing the industry’s first Lifetime Roofing System followed by the release of Woodland^®, Monaco^®, and Timberline^® American Harvest™ Shingles. Also noted was GAF’s successful Roofs for Troops program, which has aided over 5,000 military personnel and veterans to date.

Home Builder Executive Innovation Award honorees include manufacturers that have brought unique products, features, and/or builder programs to market during the past year. Editors review company websites, press releases, and promotional materials along with articles and interviews published over the past year to determine award winners.
