GAF Wins Gold Innovation Award for Second Straight Year

December 7, 2015
PARSIPPANY, N.J. – GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, is proud to have again received the Gold Innovation Award in the Asphalt Roofing Shingles category by Home Builder Executive. GAF was acknowledged for its Glenwood™ Lifetime Designer Shingles, the company’s first triple-laminate shingle and the thickest available on the market. Glenwood™ Shingles offer all the natural beauty and dimensional look of real wood shakes, blending luxury and style with ultimate performance. Home Builder Executive Innovation Award honorees include manufacturers that have brought unique products, features, and/or builder programs to market during the past year. Editors review company websites, press releases, and promotional materials along with articles and interviews published over the past year to determine award winners.

“We are honored to have again received an award that highlights our focus on creating innovative concepts that best serve our customers,” stated Ted Marcopolus, vice president of marketing services at GAF.

Unlike traditional wood shakes, Glenwood™ Shingles carry the highest fire rating—Class A from Underwriters Laboratories. Glenwood™ Shingles also offer StainGuard® protection to help ensure the beauty of customers’ roofs against unsightly blue-green algae, as well as Dura Grip™ Adhesive to seal each shingle tightly and reduce the risk of shingle blow-off. To learn more, visit www.gaf.com.
