BELOIT, Wis. – Building products distributorABC Supply Co. Inc.has promoted David Johnson to Director of National Accounts.

In his new role, Johnson leads the team that works with large national customers and partners with ABC Supply branches and the company’s suppliers to provide the products and services these customers need. He has been part of the company’s national accounts department since 2008, serving as an account executive focused on storm contractors.

Since joining ABC Supply in 1990, his diverse career with the company has also included such roles as operations manager for the Midwest region, sales manager for the Midwest Region, manager of Customer Financial Services for the Midwest region, branch manager in Green Bay, Wis., and outside sales associate for Northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Johnson will work from the company’s National Support Center headquarters in Beloit, Wis.

Johnson’s prior industry experience includes serving as an estimator/salesperson for two commercial roofing firms, a sales representative for a commercial roofing manufacturer, and as a technician for an engineering firm performing on-site inspections of roofing projects and lab analysis of roofing materials.
