HOUSTON, Texas - Lapolla Industries, Inc., a Houston based manufacturer and supplier of spray foam insulation, cool roof coatings and equipment designed to reduce energy consumption in the residential and commercial markets, for both new construction and retrofit applications, announced results of the First Lapolla Global Summit held in Europe.
The first Lapolla Global Summit was held April 14-16 in Amsterdam. The Summit consisted of Foam and Coating Distributors representing 16 countries from Europe, Scandinavia, Middle East and South America. The Summit provided extensive coverage of Material Safety, Handling and Environmental, Marketing and Sales Strategy with the Lapolla brand as the common global thread.
Representatives from the countries of Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Ireland, United Kingdom, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, and others, all came together to attend the meeting.
The Summit was presented by Doug Kramer, President & CEO, Steve Williams, Technical Director, David Ziluck, Vice President of International Sales and Ton Klomp, Lapolla Europe based in The Netherlands.
Douglas J. Kramer, CEO and President of Lapolla, stated, “The synergy and camaraderie of Lapolla’s distribution partners while in Amsterdam was overwhelming as everyone is extremely encouraged by growing opportunities with both Insulation Foam and Cool Roof Coatings. The global demand for energy savings has Lapolla and our distribution partners in an ideal position. We expect Lapolla's international distribution channels to continue to grow aggressively in the near term. Plans are already underway to schedule the Lapolla Global Summit - 2012.”
