RCI, Inc., announced the winners of its 2011 Document Competition on April 10, 2011, at an awards luncheon during the 26th RCI International Convention and Trade Show in Reno, Nevada.

RCI, Inc., announced the winners of its 2011 Document Competition on April 10, 2011, at an awards luncheon during the 26th RCI International Convention and Trade Show in Reno, Nevada.

The RCI Document Competition is an annual event organized to recognize members’ excellence in roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall construction project documentation. All entries were on display at the RCI International Trade Show.

The following individuals received first-place honors:

For excellence in the Report Writing category, Amy M. Peevey, RRO, PE; Building Exterior Solutions, LLC, for her entry on The Lamar Tower (brick masonry cladding and balcony evaluation), Houston, Texas.

For excellence in the Small Roofing/Waterproofing/Exterior Wall Project Documents category for construction valued at $500,000 or less, Jeffrey Levine, Levine & Company, Inc., for his entry on Vassar College, Thompson Library (roof gutter replacement), Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

For excellence in the Large Roofing/Waterproofing/Exterior Wall Project Documents category for construction valued greater than $500,000, Karim Allana, RRC, RWC, PE; Allana Buick & Bers, Inc., for his entry on the Modesto Regional Water Treatment Plant and Pump Station (EIFS and roof replacement), Waterford and Modesto, Calif.
