LAS VEGAS - The Product Showcase at the International Roofing Expo is a special area dedicated to cutting-edge new technology. Combining the former New Product Pavilion and Green Pavilion into one showcase area, the rebranded Product Showcase allows you to see, try and compare the latest and most environmentally friendly products. If you’re looking for a quick way to get a handle on what’s new this year, the Product Showcase is a great place to start. It’s located on the show floor in booth 1362.
A panel of judges chose the winners in the categories of “Best New Product” and “Best Green Product.” The winners, announced on Thursday, Feb. 17, were as follows: The “Best New Product” award at the 2011 IRE went to EverCo for its Skylight Guard. Second place went to Duo-Fast Construction for its Cordless Roofing Nailer. Third place went to Saiz Tool Company for its Saiz Shingle Cutting Tool.
The “Best Green Product” award was presented to Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance for its BioTray Vegetated Roof Delivery System. Polyglass USA garnered second place with its Polykool reflective modified bitumen membrane and Polykool tape. MaxiFlo’s Maxiflo Vent won the third-place award.
