DetailBond is a patent-pending double-sided, core-reinforced detail membrane for sloped roofs and the building envelope market. Its purpose is to bond the cover material to the underlying product, as well as providing for bonding of side and head laps such as those occuring when installing synthetic underlayments and house wraps. Over the past several decades the introduction of new technologies such as bitumen products, ridge vents, architectural shingles, house wraps and synthetic underlayments has created a need for a product which integrates these materials into the greater system.
