Grace's residential building materials division promotes the Grace Roof Detail Membrane as the only product available that is designed specifically for waterproofing critical roof detail areas. Based on the Grace Ice & Water Shield® technology, the membrane is flexible and conforms tightly to common roof details such as skylights, chimneys and dormer walls. Composed of two waterproofing materials, it has an aggressive rubberized asphalt adhesive backed by a layer of high-density, cross-laminated polyethylene. During application, the release paper is easily removed, allowing the rubberized asphalt to bond tightly to the roof deck and walls. The product is available in 9-inch and 18-inch widths.
