CentiMark Corporation Helps Fund Scholarships for Students Impacted by MS
Developers Diversified Realty, the owner, manager and developer of an international portfolio of shopping centers, contributed $30,000 toward their three-year commitment of $120,000 to fund National Multiple Sclerosis Society scholarships.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Developers Diversified Realty, the owner, manager and developer of an international portfolio of shopping centers, contributed $30,000 toward their three-year commitment of $120,000 to fund National Multiple Sclerosis Society scholarships.
The scholarships are awarded to top students nationwide whose lives have been impacted by MS. The scholarship program was established to help students who either have MS or have a parent with the disease pursue a full-time college or technical education. Pittsburgh-based CentiMark Corporation also contributed $50,000 - for the second year in a row - to support Developers Diversified’s commitment to the National MS Society. This brings CentiMark’s total contribution to $100,000 for MS scholarships. “We were pleased to donate $50,000 again this year to the MS Scholarship Fund from CentiMark and from our family foundation,” said Timothy M. Dunlap, President of CentiMark Corporation. “We have a very successful business partnership with Developers Diversified and we support their commitment to the MS Society to raise money for college scholarships and to support people impacted by MS.”
Daniel B. Hurwitz, President of Developers Diversified, who attended the MS scholarship fund check presentation ceremony, said, Developers Diversified is committed to supporting the National MS Society's mission.
“We're pleased that, together with CentiMark, our scholarships to the society provide educational opportunities for young adults whose lives have been impacted by MS,” he said.
