The mission of the iNOVA Awards is to recognize and promote achievement in creative web design, originality of content, and functional performance. MerComm, Inc. sponsors the iNOVA Awards, which is one of six award programs (also includes awards for design, video, marketing, annual reports and PR).
MerComm, Inc. was founded in 1987 with the principal purpose of advancing the arts and sciences of communications in an international arena. MerComm strives to establish and promote high standards of individual and collective achievement, by way of recognizing the multi-disciplines involved in professional communications. MerComm’s award programs are now in their 20th year drawing over 3,800 entries from around the world.
For the 2008 iNOVAs, over 200 entries were received from 10 countries including Austria, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States. Preliminary judging was carried out by over 40 web developers, designers, site builders and interactive media specialists. The iNOVA Award symbolizes the energy of numerous disciplines that inspire corporate Website excellence.
