Carlisle SynTec Reaches Milestone
CARLISLE, Pa. - Carlisle SynTec Inc. announced the sale of the one-billionth square foot of its Sure-Weld TPO membrane. Introduced in 1997, the record-setting membrane was installed at Beringer Vineyards in St. Helena, Calif.. Totaling 120,000 square feet, the project covered two buildings and was installed by Warren Construction & Roofing Inc. from nearby Santa Rosa.

“We’ve installed over 400,000 square feet of TPO in last three years and it was all Carlisle,” said Mark Warren, owner of Warren Construction. “Sure-Weld provides a clean installation, and when you follow Carlisle’s detailed specifications, the installation is a piece of cake.”
The membranes are available in contractor-friendly sizes up to 12-foot by 100-foot sections, decreasing the number of seams on a roof. They feature heat-weldable seams, increasing seaming speed and strength. White and tan membranes are Energy Star compliant, Cool Roof Rating Council certified, and meet all of the requirements for California’s new Title 24 energy code.
