WYLIE, Texas - Carlisle Coatings and Waterproofing Inc. (CCW) partnered with Penn-Ohio Pressure and Seal by donating CCW-702 Primer and CCW-860 Sheet Membrane to the foundation walls of an Ohio family's new home on the television show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

A recent episode featured a family that had suffered a personal tragedy and was living in a home that annually flooded with sewage. After learning of the dire straits facing recently widowed Jeff Novak and his three young daughters, employees of CCW felt moved to participate.

"We were touched by the Novak's story and wanted to help. We knew that using the primer and sheet membrane would eliminate their problem with flooding and provide a safe and habitable home," stated CCW representative Pete Eritano. "We're just glad we could help."

The installation required only two people and took an hour and a half to complete. Although CCW-860 is typically used in commercial construction, the company noted residential contractors have discovered that waterproofing with CCW products adds value and longevity to residential applications as well.
