Englert Inc., Perth Amboy, N.J., announced its membership in the U.S. Green Building Council. "Englert is committed to helping architects and designers achieve their creative vision by providing innovative metal roofing products that meet their needs for aesthetically pleasing colors and textures as well as energy efficiency," says Deborah Harnett, president and CEO of Englert.
In 2004, Englert introduced its ULTRA-Cool paint coating line, which meets Energy Star specifications for Cool Roofs, is LEED-compliant and offers a 35-year warranty on the Kynar finish. ULTRA-Cool is also available in a wide variety of colors for aesthetic appeal. Among its notable "green" projects, Englert supplied the material for the metal roofs on the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in Newburyport, Mass.
