CertainTeed Corp. expands its marketing partnership in 2004 with NASCAR Nextel Cup driver and 2002 Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton.

CertainTeed Corp., Valley Forge, Pa., expands its marketing partnership in 2004 with NASCAR Nextel Cup driver and 2002 Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton. For the fourth consecutive year, Burton will represent the entire CertainTeed line of building materials, including: roofing, siding, windows, insulation, fence, deck, railing, foundation systems and pipe products. As part of the partnership, Burton will appear on behalf of the company at 12 select NASCAR races at CertainTeed-sponsored hospitality venues as well as the company's Little Rock, Ark., commercial roofing plant in April. More than 2,000 professional contractors and distributors are expected to attend.

This year, Burton sports the colors of a new team from behind the wheel of the No. 0 NetZero HiSpeed Chevrolet. During his career, he has earned seven pole positions, five victories, 24 Top-five finishes and 79 Top-10s in 322 Winston Cup starts. His most memorable victory came in 2002 when he won the Daytona 500.
