GenFlex Roofing Systems, Maumee, Ohio, has opened a new distribution center in Columbus, Ohio, with plans to open a second distribution center in Muscle Shoals, Ala. The Columbus Distribution Center is stocked with a complete line of GenFlex EPDM membranes and accessories, including fasteners. The 50,000-square-foot facility enables the company to ship complete orders to job sites while reducing transit time. Additionally, the center includes several new items in the company’s standard inventory, including 16-foot wide No-Fold EPDM sheets and 50-foot EPDM panels.
GenFlex plans to operate a similar distribution center for its thermoplastic membranes, accessories and fasteners at its new plant in Muscle Shoals. The plant will soon manufacture the company’s new thermoplastic product line, including 6-, 8-, 10- and 12-foot TPO and 6- and 12-foot RM (PVC) roofing products.
