CertainTeed Corp.’s Roofing Products Group, Valley Forge, Pa., introduces its newly redesigned and visually enhanced Landmark™ Series asphalt roofing shingles. Manufactured and distributed nation-wide, the laminated shingles now have softened shadow lines, new colors and upgraded warranty terms. Landmark 25 has been upgraded to a 30-year product with improved wind warranty coverage of 70 miles mph. Landmark 30 has been upgraded to a 40-year product with enhanced wind warranty coverage of up to 80 mph. Landmark 40 has been upgraded to a 50-year product with 90-mph wind warranty coverage. Algae-resistant versions are also available in selected areas.

In addition, CertainTeed has added a new member to the Landmark family. What used to be known as Ambassador Shake has been redesigned, utilizing a flared dragonstooth cut, new color blends and a new name — Landmark™TL. This shingle carries a lifetime, limited transferable warranty, including 10 years of SureStart™ coverage, a UL Class A fire rating, is UL Certified to meet ASTM D3462, and is available in algae-resistant versions in most parts of the country.
