Polyglass Launches FORTRIX PMMA Waterproofing Systems
Rapid-curing PMMA technology is designed to help contractors shorten installation timelines and minimize disruptions to occupied or active facilities

Polyglass U.S.A. has introduced FORTRIX PMMA Waterproofing Systems, a new line of polymethyl methacrylate solutions for roofing, waterproofing and building envelope applications.
The FORTRIX portfolio includes field and flashing resins, primers, reinforcement, catalyst and accessories designed to form seamless waterproofing assemblies. The systems can be used on roofs, balconies, terraces, plaza decks and other areas with complex details or irregular geometries.
Rapid-curing PMMA technology is designed to help contractors shorten installation timelines and minimize disruptions to occupied or active facilities. The reinforced systems accommodate normal substrate movement and can be applied around penetrations, transitions and other challenging waterproofing details.
Polyglass says the repairable membrane assemblies are designed to support long-term maintenance and asset protection. The company is also providing technical documentation and specification support for the FORTRIX line.
“FORTRIX gives us a stronger way to bring our PMMA solutions to market and makes it easier for customers to understand the complete system approach,” said Marco Sieber, director of product management.
