Polyglass U.S.A. has expanded its steep-slope roofing portfolio with the launch of Tri-Strata Technology and two modified bitumen hybrid roof underlayments designed for mechanically attached tile roofing systems.

The new Polyanchor HU and Polyanchor HU PLUS underlayments feature a three-layer construction combining nonwoven fabric facers with a modified bitumen core. According to Polyglass, the core accounts for more than 80% of the products’ composition and is designed to improve sealability around fasteners and penetrations while providing tear and puncture resistance.

Polyanchor HU is geared toward new construction, with an emphasis on deck protection, walkability and installation efficiency. Polyanchor HU PLUS is designed for reroofing and more demanding jobsites where deck variability, material staging and increased foot traffic can put additional stress on the underlayment.

Both products use a nonwoven fabric surface for traction, a modified bitumen core for nail sealability and a nonwoven fabric base for strength and stability across the roof deck.

Polyanchor HU and HU PLUS are available through Polyglass distribution channels. More information is available at Polyglass.us.
