Banner Capital’s Roof Restoration Group Partners With Oklahoma Contractor
Exterior Solutions Group becomes RRG’s first commercial roofing partnership
Roof Restoration Group, a commercial roofing platform backed by private equity firm Banner Capital, has completed its first partnership, adding Oklahoma-based Exterior Solutions Group.
Exterior Solutions Group, or ESG, is a commercial roofing contractor headquartered in Edmond, Okla., serving K-12 school districts, colleges and commercial property owners. The company provides roof replacement, restoration and facility maintenance services.
Founder and CEO Kyle Crawford will continue to lead ESG and has joined RRG's board of directors. Crawford also reinvested in the business alongside Banner Capital and RRG executives, according to the announcement. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2017, ESG is led by Crawford, a fourth-generation roofer with more than 40 years of industry experience. His project experience includes work on the William J. Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Ark.
"Partnering with RRG and Banner gives our team the resources and back-office support to keep growing while we stay focused on what we do best," Crawford said.
RRG said it plans to pursue additional partnerships with founder-led commercial roofing contractors. The platform provides partners with shared finance, procurement, safety and national sales resources while allowing contractors to retain their existing teams, brands and customer relationships.
Banner Capital, which operates from offices in Utah and Arizona, targets founder-led and family-owned commercial and essential services businesses. The private equity firm reported $611 million in assets under management as of June 30, 2026.
