Pennsylvania Roofer Wins Jobber Grant to Expand

Red Patch Roofing & Contracting plans to open a second location after being named one of nine 2026 Jobber Grants recipients.

Pennsylvania roofing contractor Sam Kensinger, owner of Red Patch Roofing & Contracting in Leesport, Pa., is among nine recipients selected for Jobber’s 2026 Jobber Grants program.

Kensinger received a $10,000 Jobber grant to help launch a second location, according to Jobber. The veteran-led company has built its business around transparency, including exact arrival times, drone roof inspections, clear communication and consistent follow-through. The grant will support market-entry costs, bulk material purchases and targeted advertising as the company expands into a new market.

The software provider awarded a combined $250,000 to home and commercial service businesses across the United States and Canada this year, marking the largest grant pool in the program’s six-year history.

Awards ranged from $10,000 to $100,000. New Dawn Electric, an electrical contractor in Bradenton, Fla., received the program’s first $100,000 grant.

Since launching the program in 2020, Jobber said it has awarded more than $1 million to more than 100 skilled-trades and service businesses.

This year’s recipients will also attend a business retreat featuring “Shark Tank” investor Daymond John ahead of Jobber Now, the company’s inaugural user conference scheduled for Sept. 23-24 in Austin, Texas.
