Alfar Capital Launches Eastern Canada Roofing Platform
Two Quebec contractors form regional platform

Alfar Capital has partnered with Toiture Couture and Couverture Montreal-Nord to establish a commercial re-roofing platform focused on expansion across Eastern Canada.
Walter Capital Partners is also investing in the platform, which plans to pursue additional partnerships in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritime provinces. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Montreal-based Toiture Couture specializes in commercial and industrial re-roofing, inspection, repair and maintenance. The company operates a dedicated maintenance division, Groupe Maintenance Couture.
Couverture Montreal-Nord serves commercial, industrial and institutional customers, with experience in large and technically complex projects. Its services include inspections, repairs, maintenance, installation and roof replacement.
The companies employ a combined 330 workers. Their existing shareholders will retain significant ownership stakes and continue leading their respective businesses, according to Alfar Capital.
“We are bringing together complementary expertise, significant resources and a shared vision for long-term growth,” Couverture Montreal-Nord President Pierre-Olivier Nadeau said. He added that the companies will retain their individual identities while expanding their operations.
Toiture Couture CEO Maryse Couture said the partnership would provide additional resources to support the company’s growth and service strategy.
Founded in 1981, Toiture Couture employs more than 130 people. Couverture Montreal-Nord, founded in 1954, employs more than 200 people.
