Modern Mill Expands Siding Line With ACRE Shingles
Composite panels mimic cedar look
Modern Mill has launched ACRE Perfection Shingle Siding, a composite shingle panel designed to provide the look of cedar shingles with reduced maintenance.
The company said the panels resist water, weather, splintering and pests and do not require resealing. Modern Mill said the product is stainable and accepts stain evenly without knots, sap lines or tannin bleed.
Each panel measures 4 feet long and 5/16 inch thick, with an 11-39/40 inch width and a 5 7/8 inch reveal. The siding is available prefinished in Modern Mill’s Signature Stain Collection colors, including Biloxi, Walnut, Amory, Laurel, Montauk Gray, Mahogany and ACRE Black. The finishes use IR-reflective stain technology developed with PPG.
“Shingle siding is one of the most popular profiles in the country and adding it to the ACRE lineup is one of the most significant product updates in our company’s history,” said Matt Tevelde, executive vice president of national sales for Modern Mill.
ACRE Perfection Shingle Siding is available through Modern Mill’s national dealer and distributor network.
