USG, Subzero Engineering Form Data Center Alliance
Companies launch integrated solutions

USG Mission Critical Solutions and Subzero Engineering have formed a strategic alliance to provide integrated containment systems for data centers, the companies announced June 2.
Data center containment systems rely on a complex set of materials and components to come together flawlessly: doors, panels, structural ceilings, framing systems, HVAC and more. The partnership will launch a new product offering, USG DataConstrux Containment powered by Subzero Engineering, combining the companies' expertise in data center interior construction and containment solutions. The systems will include ceiling- and floor-mounted containment options designed for data center environments, including hot aisle containment and liquid cooling applications.
The companies said the alliance aims to streamline the design and construction process for contractors by providing a single source for containment materials, technical support and installation expertise.
"What really excites me about this collaboration is the benefits it will yield for customers," said Diane Earll, president of USG's Ceilings Division. She said the partnership comes at a time when contractors need containment systems that can be deployed quickly and reliably.
Shane Kilfoil, president of Subzero Engineering, said customers are seeking both high-performance containment materials and technical support. "Together, we can offer everything they're looking for in one place," he said.
The alliance takes effect in June 2026.
