TrussPoint Acquires Ohio Roofing Contractor
Runyon & Sons joins growing platform
Mentor, Ohio-based TrussPoint Roofing & Exterior Renovations has acquired Runyon & Sons Roofing, a residential roofing contractor serving Northeast Ohio, the companies announced Tuesday.
Runyon & Sons Roofing provides residential roofing services and also works with multifamily and commercial customers in the greater Cleveland market.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
TrussPoint, backed by private equity firm Soundcore Capital Partners, said the acquisition expands its portfolio of regional exterior services companies. The platform was launched in 2025 and includes Ridge Top Exteriors, Mario's Roofing and Eaton Roofing & Exteriors.
“Runyon & Sons Roofing is a trusted name in the Northeast Ohio market, with a reputation built on integrity, quality, and consistency,” TrussPoint CEO Chad Colony said in a statement.
Todd Runyon, president of Runyon & Sons Roofing, said the partnership would allow the company to maintain its local identity while gaining additional resources and operational support.
Soundcore Capital Partners, based in New York, focuses on lower middle-market buy-and-build investments across the United States and Canada.
