Leaf Home names Mike Barton Chief Accounting Officer
Leaf Home appointed Mike Barton as chief accounting officer as it integrates Erie Home and expands operations, citing the need for stronger financial oversight.

Leaf Home has appointed Mike Barton as chief accounting officer as the company works to integrate its recent merger with Erie Home and expand operations.
Barton will oversee controllership, treasury and financial systems, the company said. The appointment comes as Leaf Home scales its business and navigates post-merger integration.
“As we continue to grow and evolve our business, strong financial leadership remains critical,” CEO Jenilee Common said.
Leaf Home is a North American home services company that provides a range of residential improvement solutions, including gutter protection, roofing, water filtration, bath remodeling, stair lifts and basement waterproofing. The company recently expanded its portfolio by acquiring Erie Home, a roofing and basement waterproofing provider, as it continues to grow its direct-to-consumer offerings.
Barton most recently served as controller and chief accounting officer at Brook + Whittle, a packaging company backed by private equity. Before that, he was controller at TravelCenters of America, where he led SEC reporting and supported audit processes, including during the company’s acquisition by BP in 2023.
He previously spent about a decade at Owens Corning in various finance leadership roles, including assistant corporate controller.
“Leaf Home is well positioned for its next phase of growth,” Barton said.
The company said the role reflects continued investment in its finance organization to support increased scale and operational complexity.
