MADISON, Wis. — Metal roofing expert and S-5! CEO and Founder Rob Haddock, will return to the University of Wisconsin Madison’s School of Engineering on Dec. 4-5 to present a "Metal Roofing Systems" course.
Those that design, install, commission, maintain or repair metal roofing systems, can benefit in several ways since this course provides the tools and techniques to do metal roof installations correctly without problems. Upon completing this course, attendees will be able to identify the best solutions to your metal roofing issues, whether you’re working on new construction, performing maintenance or reroofing.
This 2-day course is taught solely by Haddock, director of consulting firm, Metal Roof Advisory Group and CEO and founder of S-5!. The curriculum includes technical and practical “soup-to-nuts” information presented in a common-sense fashion that makes the art and science of metal roofing clear, concise and understandable. For a full course description, visit the University of Wisconsin’s engineering program summary.
Contractors, architects, specifiers, roof consultants, engineers, building owners, manufacturers, building envelope commissioning authorities and maintenance staff have attended the course before with great results, officials said. Though there's a heavy emphasis on contractors, the material designed so that basically anyone involved in metal roofing design, construction, maintenance, repair and re-roofing will benefit from this course. It also includes what organizers call the best “crash course” available for sales personnel in the industry.
