The Roofing Alliance opened its call for nominations for the 2025-26 Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards, inviting roofing industry professionals to recognize exceptional workers who demonstrate excellence both on the job and in their communities.
The MVP Awards Program highlights industry professionals who serve as role models through their commitment to outstanding performance, safety, leadership, and community service. The program seeks to identify workers who make significant contributions to their companies, colleagues, and communities while embodying the values that drive the roofing industry forward.
Two Award Categories
Nominations are accepted in two distinct categories. The Outstanding Performance and Leadership award recognizes employees who demonstrate strong work ethics, leadership initiative, exemplary safety records, peer support, and performance beyond standard job requirements. The Outstanding Community Involvement category honors workers who extend their passion and dedication beyond the workplace through volunteer service, community engagement, and support for others facing personal challenges.
Recognition and Benefits
All MVP winners will receive recognition for their contributions, with one recipient selected as the "Best of the Best" winner. This top honor typically goes to individuals who excel in both award categories.
Winners and their nominators will be notified in early November, allowing them to plan attendance at NRCA's 139th Annual Convention, scheduled for Jan. 20-22, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, where the awards will be presented.
Application Process
Roofing professionals have until Sept. 5 to submit nominations. Complete applications and program details are available at roofingalliance.net/programs/mvp.
The Roofing Alliance serves as the foundation for the roofing industry, uniting more than 200 members committed to advancing the sector through research, education, training, and workforce development initiatives, supported by over $16 million in funding.
