PAX Services Group, a roofing and exterior services platform portfolio of New State Capital Partners, announced on Thursday that it has acquired South Florida-based Hi-Tech Roofing & Sheet Metal. 

In a news release, PAX said the Hi-Tech management team, including owner Mike Daley, will remain with the company.

The acquisition marks PAX's second venture in Florida, following the launch of a greenfield office in Pompano Beach, just north of Fort Lauderdale. The company stated that its growth in the Sunshine State underscores its commitment to expanding services in the Southeast region. 

New State Capital Partners, based in Westchester County, N.Y., is a middle-market private equity firm. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2000, PAX said Hi-Tech has built a reputation for delivering high-quality roofing systems with a strong emphasis on superior craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. 

With expertise in commercial, industrial, and institutional roofing, Hi-Tech has been a trusted partner for businesses, healthcare facilities and educational institutions.

PAX said Hi-Tech's addition to the platform team will expand service offerings across the building envelope, ensuring “efficient and safe projects that meet high industry standards.” 

Based in Palm Beach County, existing Hi-Tech customers have been told to expect a seamless transition.

Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP acted as PAX Services Group's legal advisors, and Gunster acted as Hi-Tech Roofing & Sheet Metal's legal advisor.
