Texas Traditions Roofing, a family-owned, commercial and residential roofing company serving Central Texas, announced on Monday that Connor Guthrie, formerly the company’s business manager, has been named chief financial officer.
“Connor has been part of the Texas Traditions Roofing family for the last five years and played a key role in the growth of our company,” company President Michael Pickel said in a news release.
“He has held several positions here, which gives him a well-rounded view of the business, and he has a strong financial background that will be key to our continued growth,” Pickel added.
Texas Traditions said Guthrie has an extensive background in finance, having worked as a financial advisor and options trader and earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas A&M University.
He will provide financial leadership, guiding strategic decisions that ensure the company continues operating profitably while achieving revenue goals and continued growth.
Guthrie resides in Georgetown, Texas, where the company is based, with his wife and two children, a son and a daughter, ages three and 17 months.
Outside work, Guthrie enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and is very active in his church, where he plays the drums and his wife sings. When time allows, you may see him out on the golf course.
