Victors Home Solutions Buys Cherry Roofing and Siding

RC’s 2024 Residential Contractor of the Year enters Philadelphia-New Jersey market with acquisition

Detroit-based Victors Home Solutions, named Roofing Contractor magazine’s 2024 Residential Contractor of the Year, announced at the end of last month that it has acquired Cherry Roofing and Siding of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

According to a Dec. 30, 2024 news release, Cherry Roofing, which had been in business for 48 years, will assume the Victors brand. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and it is unclear whether Cherry Roofing’s management will remain with the new company.

"We are very excited to welcome the wonderful people at Cherry Roofing and Siding as the newest members of our team here at Victors Home Solutions," Victor Smolyanov, Victors founder and CEO, said. "With them in our family, we will now be able to service the New Jersey and Philadelphia metropolitan areas! We are so excited to join these communities."

Victors Home Solutions was founded in 2008, and last year, it partnered with the middle-market private equity firm Vertex Service Partners to turbocharge the company’s ambitious growth plans. Since last Fall, Victors, previously a Michigan-dedicated operation, announced entering markets in Ohio and Illinois. Purchasing Cherry Roofing now gives the company a toe-hold into the Northeast.
