Coryell Roofing announced two new hires in separate news releases last month, including Liz Dawson as the company's new controller and Trish Martin, territory manager for the firm’s Arkansas and Tennessee regions in what has been a busy leadership-building period for the commercial roofing firm. 

Liz Dawson, Controller

Dawson, whose background includes education in finance, accounting and interior design from Oklahoma State University, has been an industry professional for nearly 15 years. The company’s CEO says she is well-prepared to assume the role’s responsibilities.

“We are excited to welcome Liz to our team,” Chris Coryell said. "Her deep understanding of financial strategy in the construction industry is a perfect match for our growing needs.”

The company said Dawson will oversee “financial reporting and compliance while leading strategic initiatives in analysis, budgeting, and risk management” as Coryell Roofing expands its services across multiple states.

Trish Martin, New Territory Manager, Arkansas & Tennessee

Trish Martin will work out of Coryell Roofing's Tennessee office as the territory manager for Arkansas and Tennessee. Coryell said Martin’s administrative and professional learning coordination background comes from her role at the Tennessee Organization of School Superintendents. 

At TOSS, the company said she focused on membership services, event planning, and building relationships with educators in Tennessee. 

Her connections to the educational community align with Coryell Roofing's values — and market growth opportunities. 

She said she joined the company after being impressed by its “commitment to helping others,” stating, “I look forward to aligning our services with the needs of educational institutions in my territories."
