Adam Olschewske started Marshall Exteriors in Newark, N.Y. a little more than 15 years ago, and seriously began working on roofs for a living.

Embracing the American entrepreneurial spirit, Anthony Benvenuto opened D&S Roofing Corp. in 1939.

Friends since the age of 6, Lenny Scarola and Mike Eaton were working together at a large window and siding company when they saw an opportunity to implement improved sales techniques and provide a better overall customer experience.

Doug Cooper and Nick Wallace worked together in construction for more than a dozen years before recognizing they could build a successful business and make a bigger impact by focusing on roofing.

Originally founded in Salsbury, N.C., by Bob and his brother John Farrell, TeamCraft Roofing now has 17 locations in more than eight states, and has experienced steady growth as it approaches its 20th anniversary.

While he’s now been in the business for 26 years, Mike Adams didn’t grow up working in the roofing or construction fields.
