LaValley, who has worked with the Roofing Alliance in development and membership for many years, will step into the executive director position following Bennett Judson's retirement.

The Student Competition invites college students to create a written and oral proposal for a roofing project. This year’s project is the Four Points Sheraton Hotel located on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.

Judson, who has been involved with the NRCA for 40 years and the Roofing Alliance since 2003, will retire at the end of the year.
