Clemson University is granted funding for “Workforce Education & Retention Initiatives for the Roofing Industry" by the Roofing Alliance to further develop its roofing college course.

In 2020, the Roofing Alliance funded a total of $272,253 in project funding to bolster research, educational initiatives and technical programs addressing the roofing industry.

Students at Clemson University in South Carolina completed a college course entirely dedicated to roofing, and its success could lead to other schools teaching it.

Scholarships are available for both accredited post-secondary and accredited career technical education.

To date, the Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship program has awarded 131 students a total of $890,000 in scholarship awards.
