Last Thursday, the Roofing Alliance, the philanthropic arm of the National Roofing Contractors Association, announced Bridgeview, Ill.-based Prusak Roofing, Inc. joined the Roofing Alliance as its newest Governor Member; Prusak is the 202nd member to join the organization.
“Joining the Roofing Alliance is one of the most important decisions we've made as a company,” Prusak Roofing Owner Jim Prusak said in a Jan. 16 news release.
Prusak Roofing is a third-generation, family-owned company that has provided roofing services to thousands of Chicago-area homes and businesses for more than 60 years.
“The Roofing Alliance membership provides us the opportunity to be a part of an organization that is looking toward the future of roofing and directly impacting the industry as a whole through research, education, technology and training,” Prusak added.
The Roofing Alliance says its mission helps attract some of the industry's best and brightest roofing professionals, uniting them in a shared mission to drive the industry forward.
Together, it oversees and funds innovative programs and research initiatives that shape, enhance, and propel the roofing industry in four critical areas: education and training, technology, sustainability, and philanthropy.
“Member participation is vital within the Roofing Alliance, and much of the organization’s strength comes from its broad base of supportive contributors,” said Executive Director Alison L. LaValley, CAE.
“The roofing industry has a wonderful history of generosity,” LaVelley added. “For roofing professionals who would like to be involved in giving back and securing the future excellence of the roofing industry, the Roofing Alliance provides the perfect opportunity to collaborate, commit and contribute on multiple levels.”
