Omnia Exterior Solutions, a portfolio company, has announced its third acquisition after forming a partnership with Black Hills Exteriors, a roofing and exteriors company based in Rapid City, S.D.

HCI Equity Partners' new platform, Highland Roofing, has acquired Skycraft Roofing, expanding its commercial roofing services in the Western U.S. 

Generational Equity facilitated the sale of Rogers Roofing, Inc., a Hammond, Ind.-based home roofing and remodeling company, to Vertex Service Partners, an Alpine Investors portfolio company; specific terms undisclosed, and the deal closed last April.

Roofing innovation: NanoTech Inc, a material science company pioneering a category of climate-resilient materials that enable environmental responsibility without sacrificing financial return, brings on multiple investors in an oversubscribed funding round to combat peak heat in the last weeks of summer.  

Residential and commercial roofing firms enjoyed a banner year in 2022, as reflected in RC's 2023 Top 100 List, including Tecta America and CentiMark Corporation, which each reported record revenues; other entrants made their presence known quickly courtesy of private equity, including Erie Home and Infinity Home Services.  

This will be the second company added to Omnia Exterior Solutions’ portfolio, which launched in June 2023 with a partnership with Hoffman Weber in Minneapolis.
