Duro-Last’s annual National Sales Seminar last week at JW Marriott Tampa and Tampa Marriott Water Street in Tampa, Fla., welcomed more than 1,900 guests representing more than 290 certified Duro-Last roofing contractor companies.
The event, which the company reported on in a Jan. 24 news release, was packed with educational sessions, networking, company news, and product announcements. Many contractors were also celebrated for their outstanding work and accomplishments during 2023.
“Excitement and anticipation for the National Sales Seminar is always high, but this year was definitely special,” said Duro-Last President Tom Saeli. “There are a lot of exhilarating new developments currently taking shape in the roofing industry, including Duro-Last’s recent acquisition by Holcim. Networking, Education and Entertainment
While education and networking were at the core of the activities, with breakout sessions covering topics such as sales growth, sustainability, digital media, roof assemblies and the ever-popular custom-fabrication techniques, contractors were able to relax and celebrate throughout the event as well.
Attendees enjoyed the annual Awards Gala, during which contractors were recognized for their outstanding achievements throughout 2023, and everyone enjoyed a night of live entertainment at the finale party held on Tampa’s waterfront.
“It’s always an honor for us to learn, grow, and celebrate with Duro-Last contractors during Seminar festivities, and this year was certainly no different,” Saeli said. “There truly is no better way to kick off a new year than with the World’s Best Contractors inspiring us to dream bigger and set the bar higher than we ever have before.”
