Thousands of Dollars of Roofing Material Stolen from Fla. Construction Site
Deputies seek driver of vehicle for questioning; ask public for help

The Charlotte County, Fla., Sheriff's Office is seeking information from the driver of this dark-colored Dodge Ram truck in connection with the theft of more than $14,000 worth of roofing material from a condo association in the community of Englewood, along the Gulf of Mexico.

The Charlotte County, Fla., Sheriff's Office announced on May 26 it had opened an investigation of construction theft. Charlotte County is north of Ft. Myers and one of several Florida counties still recovering from Hurricane Ian’s devastation last summer.
According to CCSO, more than $14,000.00 worth of roofing material was stolen from the parking lot of a condo association in Englewood, a community that sits on Lemon Bay, adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico, at the end of May.
The truck in the video (link below) is described as a dark-colored Dodge Ram. Deputies are attempting to identify the driver of this truck for questioning.
The Sheriff’s Office says the driver is currently not considered a suspect. The public is asked to notify CCSO at (941) 639-2101 if readers have any information.
