NWiR to Hold 6th Annual NWiR Day March 5
Call for Presentations Due by Sept. 30
National Women in Roofing (NWiR) announced it is hosting its annual NWiR Day in Dallas on March 5, 2023 in advance of the 2023 International Roofing Expo.
The one-day conference is the premier event for multidisciplinary women professionals in the roofing industry to get together to learn about the latest business strategies and tactics, and share their secrets to success. Attendees are able to connect with professional, like-minded, good-spirited women from all facets of the roofing industry and experience insight, inspiration and fun.
The full day includes sessions covering business development, communications, career development, mentoring, recruitment, roofing technology and hands-on demonstrations. Additional information can be found here.
To create an energetic agenda full of interesting presentations, NWiR is seeking suggestions and contributions on best practices and other important issues that can help empower women in the roofing industry. This year's theme is "Performer to Powerhouse," which asks women to consider ideas like what they wish they had known at the beginning or mid-point in their career. Submissions of general topics and specific presentation proposals from women in all areas of the roofing industry are welcomed.
