Whether it’s wind uplift ratings or using products like DensDeck StormX that are built to last, commercial roofing contractors need to prepare for a storm season affected by increased severe weather patterns.

In this episode, Greg Hudson, commercial sales director, Dens Products – Georgia-Pacific, discusses tips and strategies commercial roofing contractors should keep in mind for this storm season as well as key areas that are easy to overlook.

“We’re seeing contractors who work all across the country, they’re traveling to areas outside their core zone,” said Hudson. “You want to take into account geography. Geography is not only going to have different code standards, but you’re also going to have different types of conditions that will impact a commercial low-slope roof system.”

Hudson also touches on the state of the commercial roofing industry following two years of a pandemic and supply shortages.
