Now in its second year, Operation Rooftop combines the winning spirit of the four-time world champion Kansas City Chiefs with TAMKO’s top-quality American manufacturing. The inaugural recipient of Operation Rooftop was retired Marine Corps veteran Garron Abernathy of Blue Springs, Missouri. Garron, who served two deployments in Iraq as a Motor Vehicle Operator and later led a tire shop operation to ensure the safety of his unit’s vehicles, now works as a Class A Hazmat Fuel Truck Driver. He and his fiancée raise their blended family in a home purchased with his VA loan.

After experiencing roof issues, Garron and his fiancée were saving up for repairs. Winning Operation Rooftop provided both relief and recognition.

“I am beyond grateful to TAMKO^® and the Kansas City Chiefs for this incredible gift,” Garron said. “As a Marine Corps veteran, knowing that my home will be safe and secure with this new roof means everything to me and my family.”
