BobVila.com, the website based on renowned home improvement expert Bob Vila, announced its best roofing contractors of 2021.

The roofing companies were judged based on availability, service areas, warranties, and additional service offerings. The three companies selected are:

  • Best Overall: Aspen Contracting
  • Runner-Up: CMR Construction & Roofing
  • Best for Remodeling: Power Home Remodeling Group

According to the Bob Vila website, Aspen Contracting won best overall not only due to its environmentally-friendly practices of using eco-friendly and waste-reducing products, but also for its lifetime warranty and other services like siding and gutters. The contractor has made numerous appearances on RC’s Top 100 list, including earning the 17th spot on the 2021 list after bringing in $91.8 million in revenue in 2020.

CMR Construction & Roofing, which earned the 10th spot on the 2021 Top 100 list after earning $122 million in revenue in 2020, was named runner-up. The Bob Vila website docked CMR Construction for having most of its locations in the South and Midwest, but praised it for its specialization in storm restoration, additional services and having homeowners only work with one representative from inspection to completion.

“Both companies offer straightforward processes that allow clients to work with only one representative throughout the entire project, from inspection to completion,” BobVila.com states.

Power Home Remodeling Group was named the best contractor for remodeling services. Its accolades include being named RC’s 2017 Residential Contractor of the Year and taking the eighth spot on the Top 100 list in 2019 with $160 million in revenue. BobVila.com noted the company’s experienced contractors working in the solar industry, eco-friendly practices and lifetime warranty as reasons for its designation

Along with the most recent honor from BobVila.com, CMR Construction and Power Home Remodeling also share the accolade of earning spots on Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list, which ranks the fastest-growing companies in the nation. CMR Construction ranked 637 on the 2019 list, and Power Home Remodeling ranked 3,939 on the 2020 list.

“Hiring one of the best roofing companies to repair or replace a roof means getting the best roofing materials and not having to worry about if the roofing work is up to code,” BobVila.com states.
