MCMINNVILLE, Tenn. - Tennsmith announced the acquisition of Roll Former Corporation of Chalfont, Pa. Roll Former Corporation is a leading manufacturer of roll forming equipment for the sheet metal forming industry.

As of Aug. 19, 2021, Roll Former Corporation becomes part of Tennsmith, joining Roper Whitney of Rockford, Ill. as one of the Tennsmith brands.

“This acquisition made a lot of sense for Tennsmith as roll forming equipment is a natural extension and complement to the sheet metal forming equipment our company manufactures. With this product line, our organization can provide one of the most comprehensive lines of forming equipment and solutions to the metal forming industry,” said Mike Smith, one of the Tennsmith owners.

In 2011, Tennsmith purchased Roper Whitney, including owned brand names such as Pexto and Connecticut. Together, Tennsmith and Roper Whitney now offer one of the most complete lines of American-made metal forming tools and machinery on the market.
