The International Roofing Expo (IRE), the North American roofing industry’s largest show — is adding a virtual component to its 2021 line-up, and moving the in-person event in Las Vegas to August.

The virtual event will take place March 2-4, and the in-person show — already pushed back from its usual date in February due to COVID-19 — is rescheduled from April to Aug. 10-12 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

“We began hearing from a lot of our manufacturer partners that they just weren’t that comfortable with an April event,” Ray Giovine, group director for the International Roofing Expo & Informa Markets told RC.

He also discussed what contractors can expect from both the virtual and live events, and what safety measures will be in place to keep attendees healthy. See more of the exclusive Q&A and check RC's coronavirus coverage page for the latest news and information.
