FRANKFORT, Ill. — Ridgeworth Roofing Co. Inc. recently added Matt Wehrle as a new project manager. In his new role, Wehrle works closely with Ridgeworth Roofing President and Owner Rod Petrick and Vice President Ryan Petrick to assist with the CAD program and take-offs and attend pre-bid meetings.

"My experiences and background in roofing have prepared me to take on my new role at Ridgeworth," said Wehrle. "I applied to the company because of its longstanding commitment to quality, service, and family-led values. I'm happy to be part of the team."

Wehrle began learning the trade during high school and college at a commercial roofing company. He first entered the roofing industry in 2001. The next year, he attended Quincy University's School of Business, earning his Bachelor of Science in Finance and then graduating in 2007 after earning his master's degree in Business Administration. Directly following his college graduation, he re-joined the roofing industry and began taking a lead role at the Joliet-based Anderson & Shah Roofing Inc., estimating and managing several company projects.

In addition to his education, Wehrle has served on the Chicago Roofing Contractors Association's (CRCA) trade show planning committee. He and his wife, Hannah, have a daughter and son.
